MEG PW1000

MEG PW1000 is specifically formulated for use in all types of diesel including Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) and biodiesel blends. This additive contains less than 15 ppm sulfur, meeting the EPA requirements for use with ULSD. Our combination of WASA, Cold Flow Improvers and De-icer added to our premium fuel additive package will provide cold weather protection without sacrificing fuel economy.

Treat Rate: 1 gallon of MEG PW1000 treats 1000 gallons of diesel fuel

WASA-Wax Anti-Settling Agent

  • Wax modifier inhibits the attachment of wax molecules to each other preventing the formation of larger wax compounds that can plug fuel filters
  • WASA helps keep the wax crystals small and suspended so that they flow through fuel system rather than plugging filters

Cold Flow Improvers

  • MEG PW1000 will improve operability of fuel to 20 degrees below the cloud point
  • Equal to or better than using 30% No. 1 diesel – save money without sacrificing fuel economy

De-Icer

  • Prevents water in fuel from forming ice crystals which leads to plugged fuel filters
  • MEG PW1000 is glycol based, performs the same as jet fuel de-icer and contains no alcohol

Detergency

  • Reduces or delays thermal oxidation, the leading cause of black filters which can lead to filter plugging
  • MEG PW1000 provides the detergency needed to achieve a “clean up” rating in the DW10 Standard Injector Coking Test
  • Keeps injectors clean and maintains proper fuel spray pattern to avoid incomplete combustion

Stability

  • MEG PW1000 contains 5 times more stabilizer than most of our competitors
  • Improves storage life by 2-3 times as long without additives by preventing the formation of gums
  • Reduces or delays thermal oxidation to prevent filter plugging

Emissions

  • Reduces black smoke by up to 93%, decreases NOx, HC, CO, and PM

Corrosion/Rust Inhibition

  • Prolongs fuel system life by preventing corrosion and rust of fuel injectors and fuel tanks

Lubricity

  • Exceeds lubricity standard in ASTM D975 and EMA premium diesel requirement

OptiMax

OptiMax is specifically formulated for use in all types of diesel fuel including heating oil, biodiesel blends and especially Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD). This diesel fuel additive complies with the federal low sulfur content requirements for use in diesel motor vehicles and non-road engines.

Treat Rate: 1 gallon of Optimax treats 3000 gallons of diesel fuel

Detergency

  • OptiMax contains the detergency needed to achieve a "Clean Up" rating in the DW10 Standard Injector Coking Test
  • Keeps injectors clean and maintains proper fuel spray pattern to avoid incomplete combustion
  • Prevents formation of sticky deposits
  • Prevents power loss caused by plugged injectors

Stability

  • Reduces or delays thermal oxidation, the leading cause of black filters which can lead to filter plugging
  • Improves storage life by 2-3 times as long without additives by preventing the formation of gums

Corrosion/Rust Inhibition

  • Prevents corrosion of fuel storage tanks and vehicle tanks
  • Protects injectors and fuel systems from corrosion and rust formation
  • Prolongs fuel equipment life

Water Tolerance

  • Promotes rapid separation of water when there is a major problem with free water
  • Rapid separation allows you to pump out the water and get back into business ASAP

Lubricity

  • Exceeds lubricity standard in ASTM D975 and EMA premium diesel requirement
  • Reduces friction in engine parts
  • Provides protection against accelerated wear
  • Prolongs fuel system equipment life

FieldMax Diesel Protection®

FieldMax is formulated by MEG Corp specifically for agricultural use. This is the ONLY fuel additive you will ever need for trouble free fuel operation in every season. One additive treats any diesel fuel in any season under any condition making FieldMax Diesel Protection the easiest, most effective all season fuel protection you can use.

Treat Rate: 1 gallon of FieldMax Diesel Protection treats 1000 gallons of diesel fuel

Product Benefits

  • Year-round performance to safeguard your capital investment
  • Protection against the most common fuel quality issues
  • Biocide to eliminate microbial growth in your fuel tanks
  • Stabilizer protects fuel by preventing oxidation to ensure longer shelf life and stop fuel degradation
  • Reduces or delays thermal oxidation, the leading cause of black filters which can lead to filter plugging
  • De-icer to prevent fuel line freeze up
  • Cold flow improvers perform equal to or better than using 30% no. 1 diesel
  • WASA prevents wax crystals from dropping and plugging fuel filters
  • Formulated for ULSD and biodiesel blends up to 20%

Trouble Free Fuel Operation in Every Season

  • Fall – Guarantee a trouble free harvest. Assure cold weather operability when temperatures dip below freezing.
  • Winter – Protect your fuel stability for winter storage. Avoid wax crystals from dropping to the bottom of your tank.
  • Spring – Be ready for planting season as soon as the weather allows. You will have the peace of mind that the fuel in your vehicles and storage tanks is ready to get the job done.
  • Summer – Protect your fuel stability and eliminate the possibility of bacterial and fungal growth that can emerge during the hot summer months.

MicrobiKILL®

Biocide for ULSD, Heating Oil, Biodiesel and Gasoline

  • Solvent based
  • Water dispersible
  • Broad spectrum
  • Two types of chemistry

MicrobiKILL® is a solvent-based preservative used to eliminate and/or prevent the growth of bacteria and fungi in finished fuels (e.g. ULSD, biodiesel, gasoline, bunker fuel oil). MicrobiKILL® is also used to prevent the biodegradation of crude, refined and feedstock oils and fats (e.g. poultry, soybean, aromatic, paraffinic, naphthenic) during storage.

A proprietary and synergistic blend, MicrobiKILL® is:
- Broad spectrum: kills bacteria, fungi and algae
- Active in both phases of the system: partitions into both fuel and water
- Fast acting: 100% bacterial kill in just two hours
- Two types of chemistry confuses the bacteria to keep it from becoming resistant to treatment

Being solvent based, MicrobiKILL® is fully combustible and will not form combustion residues or hazardous byproducts when used. MicrobiKILL® is non-corrosive, non-emulsifying, and has long term fuel stability.

MicrobiKILL® imparts a minimum amount of sulfur and is approved for use in ultra low sulfur diesel applications.

Treat Rate:
Moderate contamination:
1 gallon to 10,000 gallons (100 ppm)
Severe contamination:
1 gallon to 5,000 gallons (200 ppm)

Packaging and Handling
MicrobiKILL® is a liquid packaged in non-returnable drums and in bulk. Refer to Material Safety Data Sheet for suitable materials of constructions for handling and storing this product. Improper handling of this product can be injurious to workers. Observe all safety precautions shown on the label and in the Material Safety Data Sheet. MicrobiKILL® is not approved for use in aviation fuels.

MicrobiKILL® was tested in the laboratory to compare its effectiveness versus three other leading biocides. The microorganisms used in the study were the bacterium Pseudomonas aeruginosa and the fungus Cladosporium resinae, both which are widely found in fuel.  The results of the study show that MicrobiKILL® provides excellent results at the minimum recommended does after one and four weeks (Figures 1 and 2). Brand X provided similar results but costs 2-3 times as much as MicrobiKILL®.  Brands Y and Z did not perform well, especially after 4 weeks.
